After-market distributor cap--WARNING and story (longish)

FYI
I put a Wells cap and rotor set in my 4ks last Fall.  I had *alot* of
problems, even though I didn't know how to do a tune up.  Car ended
barely running. Turns out the rotor was "defective," it was melted through,
it also wrecked the cat.  Good news is that I sent the parts to Wells with 
a letter, in a month+ they sent a check for all repairs!
