In response to Phils' query, I'd suggest it was the same (temporary we 
hope) diminished visual/mental acuity, (a seemingly very transmittable 
affliction), that would cause one to reply list wide to a request for 
off list discussion.  Your posit is wasted on lowly motorheads, if you 
really want an answer why don't you pose it to the PC list where it 
belongs?
