Hi Georg;
I assume you are referring to the chrome trim strips just above the
bumper. These strips are screwed and bolted to the body. The best way to
remove them is to remove the bumper and unbolt the trim. The bumper is
easily removed; it is held on with either two or four bolts. Remove the
bolts and pull the bumper backwards. It will slide out of the side supports
and come off.
