Hmmm...interesting discussion this has become. So in effect I should
perhaps stick to using the 95 octane leaded stuff that the owner's
manual indicates for both sea level and altitude use in my South
African 1990 200t. I've been putting in 97 octane leaded, the highest
we have here, ever since I've been told to put the highest in I can
get since it has less tendency to knock. Perhaps the use of the 97
as apposed to the 95 stuff could define the slackiness of my ride. :)
And what with the fuel price going up next week (again! bloody gravy-
trains!) I guess it could work out a few cents cheaper using the 95.
