RE: heating woes (soon to be cooling woes...)

Thought I had it made this weekend -- went to the junkyard Saturday, found a
5000 with an intact programmer, yanked it out of the dash, pulled the motor,
took it up to the junk-man, and paid $25 for it. Unfortunately, it turned
out to have _exactly_ the same stripped gear, which probably indicates a
design weakness that all these things share. I'm going to try Carlsen or one
of the others today. Let you know what happens....
