RE: Audi 80, bomb, and AT transmition.



Check if your brake lights operate as intended. There's a solenoid that
prevents the shift lever from being moved out of Park position if the
brake pedal isn't depressed. If you have a burnt brake light fuse or
malfunctioning brake light switch, you won't be able to move the shift
lever.
