Not sure.  It seems to me that you could leave it alone without problems.
I don't see how increasing the efficiency of the front brakes would cause
the rear to lock up more easily, since the rear brakes are not receiving
any more brake pressure than with the stock setup.  If anything, the rear
brakes may be underutilized.
