I've noticed that mine is noisy for a day or two after surgery. There
seems to be a little bubble in the sediment trap - makes quite a racket
until it gets replaced with fuel.
But another idea. Some of the banjo bolts in the system have large
'top hat' things on them, and the manual calls them "noise suppressors".
Now - I assume there's a loaded diaphragm in there and, as we all know
from bombs and fuel accumulators - diaphragms sometimes fail.
Has anyone ever found and replaced a failed "noise suppressor" to reduce
fuel injection system noise?
