engine test
The compression test values of the before and after valve repair brings up
some interesting results. Yes the carbon removal is probably the most
obvious and accurate. The increased combustion chamber area from relocating
valves in the seats I doubt have much impact on a reading. Other negligable
factors could be, engine temperature differences, battery voltage-cranking
speed differences cylinder wall dryness from cleaning with the head off and
ambient temperature, relative humidity differences from when the tests were
performed.
All of these would have very little effect and the bottom line is the 6
psi difference will never be noticed from the drivers seat.
