Re: Photo Radar

A good way of defeting photoradar is with a background flash (~$50). These
are what professional photographers use when they are shooting in a large
room. The background flash has a flash sensor built in to it and when it
detects a flash from a camera its flash goes off. The idea behind these is
to light up the entire room to elemate shadows. If one of these are
mounted on your car with the flash aimed at your plate the plate will be
VERY over exposed when the photoradar van take your picture. In Canada
they are not illagal as they do not PHICALLY obsure your plate. They just
blanket them with too much light so your licene plate is just an over
exposed white blur.
