I made some measurements using already out of the car subframe.
It looks like it will fit. I would think it will be just like in the
Ur-q. I have never driven one so I have nothing to go on. I'll just
have to wait and see. I do think however it would decrease
understeer.
There is one minor problem. The steering arm on the 5kt strut is little
bit longer than the one on the 4kq. I'll try to see if it will work
without modifying it. If worse comes to worse I'll shorten it or
enlarge the tie rod openings in the body. It should make the
steering less heavy and maybe increase number of lock to lock turns.
I'll let you know in a month or so.
