Without wanting or needing to get into the BMW/sport XXXXX/Audis rule
thread, I'd just like to defend the "portly" honor of my sprightly
little 2715 lb (1231 kg) '87 4kq. This is only ~300 lbs more than the
wife's '86 4ks (1.8 4-cyl). Both of these cars are pretty durn "light"
for their respective sizes, to say nothing of safety and equipment,
blah, blah, blah.
