Re: Anti-Rollbar Distortion?

the antiroll bar on a type 44 is a triangulating member for the front
control arm. it is also angled outward at the ends, such the the tips
are wider than the openings for the bushings at some control arm angles.
there is plenty of tension even in a level stance. after replacing
your antiroll bar bushings, you will be somewhat more humble but your
opinion will be correct. the bentley instructs to remove the center antiroll
bar mounts before attempting to pop the ball joints.
