wanted to...too bad the M3 4d came out too late.  now i've just got my 200q
and a Volvo wagon :)

you ought to see a few of the folks at a BMW CCA or ACA event.  for the
most part, put Audi enthusiasts to shame.  can talk and understand vehicle
dynamics better than most--of course, most of them seem to have 2002s and M
cars.  BMW has had a lot of sales success due to the people you talk
about--they probably aren't out ther.  6 of one...

by that same argument, one might argue they'd never own an Audi due to the
s**t-for-brains folks who mistook a gas pedal for a brake pedal.  but we
don't do that (rather, we thank them for making these cars affordable on
the used market).  point is, the guilt-by-association argument isn't a good
one to avoid an otherwise competent product.

or have technically competent features that appeal to our requirements,
whatever they may be.  or tickle our fancy.

too many hours at 35,000 feet today.
