Various folks have asked what programmable intermittent wiper relay works: I recently installed the 1HM-955-531-A in my car (87 5kcstq) and it works great! I haven't a clue what other relay numbers do the same thing or work in what years...but I'll hazard a guess that most Audi intermittent wiper relays are the same, at least for a given vintage.
