Also, in the rear
of my car are factory "stand up" tweeters.  Does anyone know any ideas on how
to replace these with "high end" speakers???

In most cases, the tweeter itself is separate form the mounting collar.  You CAN use just the speaker if lucky enough to fit in the original factory collar.
