Ah... I should have made this slightly more clear in my original post:
The aforementioned mounting of changers and amplifiers under seats was
just a rule-of-thumb option, not necessarily a viable course of action for
us Audi owners. It is very true that most Audis that I've seen have had
little or no room under the seats, especially if they are power. Heck, my
non-power 4kcsq seats have no room under them! But, the idea is for other
cars, (if you own non-Audi marques), that may be an option.
As far as mounting in the glovebox, in the 4kcsq, I think it could be
done... and we in the midwestern states, well, we need that A/C... but
yes, that is an excellent place to mount it -- no one will be stealing
that one any time soon!
