Idle fluctuates - sticky ISV

The microfiche practically screams at you NOT to touch the moving parts
with _anything_.
There seem to be three types of ISV - the early and late rotary ones,
and the long solenoid jobbie fitted to the MC/MB. What _I_ do to
clean them is to cover the end hole with aluminium foil (you _can_ use
aluminum foil), stand it upright, and spray some carb cleaner into the
side hole. Leave overnight, and blow out in the morning.
