RE: A8 All-Star

They must be idiots. Right Scott?

Fellow Audians: Audi's A8 replaced its A4 on Automobile
Magazine's yearly All-Stars list. Some of the article hightlights
include:

"The combination of all-wheel drive and a 4.2 litre, 32-valve,
300-bhp V-8 enables this luxury sedan to rocket away from tight
corners in a manner that has to be experienced to be believed."

"Other factors that make the A8 such a tour de force include the
all-aluminum body, which enhances performance and saves fuel by
weighing 300 lbs less that a conventional version of the same
structure. Ironically, outstanding performance and agility are
complemented by a body that feels and looks strong enough to
deserve the time-honored plaudit about appearing to have been
sculpted from a billet of steel."

"The Audi is where traditional concepts of automotive luxury go
hand in glove with throughly modern ergonomics that delight
drivers."

"Why is the A8 a landmark automobile? Because it eliminates any
lingering doubts about Audi's right to be named in the same
breath as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Jaguar, and Lexus."

cousins, you might want to pick up a copy of this issue. GregJ
