Re: 1992 Audi 100S Check Engine Light

Hairy green toads from Mars made Greg Treantos say:

Is this the "new" style 100 (with the V6)?

THe procedure is to install a jumper and the check engine light
will flash the code. The older style 100s (like my '89 with the
I5) use a fuse in the top of the fuel pump relay. The new ones
use a special jumper plugged into a special socket in the fusebox.

The jumper should be in the fuse box, but many were "helpfully"
removed by the dealers when they sold the car. I have one if you need it.
