I am
currently having problems attempting to remove the rear bumper on my '86 5000
S. I need to get this off to touch-up the paint right above it........a
Qlister had mentioned earlier about rust above the chrome where it 'looks' to be
mounted to the body -I unfortunately have the same problem.
I have
been trying to loosen the mounting bolts, but they don't want to budge.
I've tried WD-40 on them, a couple of times, and then got to the point where I
tried to use vise-grips -that didn't work.
I don't
want to strip the nuts, but I DO NEED THIS OFF! So if I could get some
info on the 'easy' way to remove a stubourn bumper, it would be much
appreciated.....I guess, even just having the 'cover' removed would be enough,
if it's easier
