Re: driving light mounting on 5KTQ?



Glen:  I mounted mine ('91 200Q) on top of the front bumper.  There is plenty
of metal right behind that plastic cover.  I just drilled through the plastic
and metal starting with very small drills and increasing drill sizes.  Then I
used the special anchors provided by Hella that don't require access from
underneath.  Just be careful to scout around for places to drill that don't
have brackets or anything else in the way underneath.  Mine ended up as close
as possible to the headlights without interference.
