Ken, My bushings came in three pieces.Two Outer pieces and ametal
bushing that went thru the center after the 2 "halves" were installed.
The bolt
went thru the bushing.That's where the "clack" comes from.The grease
goes in where the bolt goes. It is supposed to lube the bolt and bushing
fit.Installing new bolts supposedly reduces the clearance between the id
of the bushing/spacer and the bolt od.
