Big hairy PITA (ignition switch repair)

I carry them in the boot.  And a whole lot of triangular and spiral
bits.  But the upper steering column should be secured by a shear bolt.

It does, but the procedure is only docummented in Haynes, not in
Bentley.  It involves drilling a hole at a precisely measured spot -
it's in the archives, somewhere.

For most Audis, complete replacement tumbler and key sets are available
as "repair kits" - see the parts microfiche.  For the ur-quattro, this
is # 811 898 081D.
