type 44 q's FS in ID
Had the GTI's oil changed today (20w50 means no more "downshift indicator" oil
buzzer) and dealer (B.A. Wackerli, 208.524.1500) has:
1989 200 quattro, 101k, white (non-pearl?) w/ black leather, BBS basket-weave
with new snows, asking $9k
1989-91 100 quattro, also some kind of white, it's a new arrival
I had walked by the 89-200q as a replacement for Dad's GSX, but he doesn't seem
too interested.
Also saw a 1991 200 quattro in the Salt Lake Trib last weekend, but forgot to
bring that section of the paper home with me. Asking $10k, no other details.
Can ask my friend in SLC to look in the paper if anyone is interested, the
Trib's website is apparently rarely updated and classified links don't work at
all.
Can also inquire about the two cars here when I go back Thursday for the Audi's
summer-weight change if interest is indicated.

1991 200 quattro, 87k, now washed and shiny so I can see all the paint
scratches and door dings left me by POs and people parked next to them
1988 GTI 16v, 177k, also washed, not as many dings, fresh thick oil, finally a
new OXS on the way
P.S. Dad found two hoses incorrectly swapped on his 951 MAF/cone conversion (+
chips/head/k27), swapped them back - phantom boost cutout & big oil clouds
appear to be gone, some foul running/backfire (!) at tip-in but after that -
whoa nelly! Where's the nearest dyno? Montana, you say? Bummer, eh...:)
