The 80q and 90q are based on the same body and thus the same size.
They are offered in the US for the 1988-1992 model years with the 5-cylinder
10 valve 2.3 engine with 130hp, manual transmission only. The 1990-91
and 1991 90q and Coupe quattro got the 20V five, with 164hp.
Then, for 1993, there was a revision to the car's nose, and the car got
a redesigned rear end with larger trunk and fold down rear seats. The
80 designation was dropped, and the 90 all had 2.8 V6 engines.
The 80 series had less content than the 90. The 90 series is a lot more
"luxo" than the 80.
