Ford supposedly said it was discontinuing all of its large, RWD cruisers.
Same with GM, supposedly. I believe neither company has done so...some
kind of stupid PR play.

Ummm...That wouldn't explain why I see them constantly, much more than the
other limo services...around Weston, Wayland, Lincoln, they are _always_
around. They appear to be doing business hand over fist.

It will probably be a cousin(ie, cheaper version) of the S90 Royale; this
car was made in an extremely limited production line, and only sold in
Japan to cater to the limo market...carried the King and Queen of Sweeden
along with some high-ranking Japanese official(prime minster, I think?) and
his wife during the King's visit to Japan. It comes in two major groups;
traditional 5 seater and get this...a 4 seater(captain's chairs around,
with special vents, power/audio jacks, cupholders and more for the seperate
backseat passengers. Other steps up include a sizeable inline-6(210hp if I
recall, 20 more than the 960/S90) and special "trimmings" or symbols(I
believe a fancy trident fork on each rear pillar) to indicate the car is
not a normal S90. I had a picture of it that showed a blue one(color was
slightly darker than RS Blue and was metallic.) Looked very sharp. Volvo
no longer has any info about it on their web site.
Audi, frankly, offers nothing like it(I can't think of anyone who does
offer a 4-seater sedan!); Volvo did it expressly for the purpose of having
a suitable vehicle for marketing to the limo group.
