RE: Buying 86 + turbo questions
No, not yet! I think the key to the low number of non-q 5-speeds is that the typical 'Mercan buying a luxury car in this price range, in this case an Audi Vs a bends or a mwb or a lingcoon, would almost always go for the auto trans, luxury cars always have auto trans - right? :) Those few that pay extra for q are moslty also those rare and few 'Mercans that actually WANT to shift a 5-speed, so no auto in the q was not really a big negative for these buyers - they sold very well.

Hey Glen,
You didn't die on me, did you! :-) I went back and re-read my
E-Mail to
you, and I have to admit I seem rather antagonistic. NOT my
intention. I
think Scott Mo.'s latest E-Mail says it all, very nicely. I
would love to
own a Q, along with my 5 speed. The wet stuff would be alot
less scary.
The end of my 5 speed rant.
Thanks,
