Be careful with that location. I ran my RCA's on the driver's side (US)
because the ECU is on the pass side footwell and will result in noise seeping
into the RCA's. IME run the RCA's along the drivers side, and the speaker
wires down the tranny tunnel under the carpet/center console. Speaker wire is
less sensitive to noise (signal is already amplified at that point). If power
lines and RCA's cross, make sure they do so at a perpendicular angle - less
noise that way.
Any power source near RCA's or cross-overs is bad (passive or powered). Keep
these isolated. My .02.
