Yup. Andrew Duane just gave me the same tip. Thanks, both.
Digging through the (pile of and incomplete) service records he got
with the car, Roger finds a record of: "Investigate rich running".
It was done by a main dealer, though - so they obviously found nothing,
changed a few expensive bits and de-programmed the radio. You know
what dealers are like.
