Nonsense ... if you're willing to run wheels with different offsets front
and rear, you CAN fit an 8x17 wheel with a 215/45-17 tire under the rear
fenders without modifying them in any way.  Of course, this now means it
isn't quite so easy to rotate tires as when all four wheels/tires are of the
same size and, of course, you'll also have to put up with the minor
improvement in handling that a wider front track provides...  :^)
