V8Q OXS sensor

You DON'T have to buy the Audi sensor, as a matter of fact
it's alot easier to just splice in a "generic" OXY sensor
than route the entire OEM Oxy sensor. I paid +/- U$45 for
the Oxy sensor about two years ago, the original OEM
"Audi" Oxy sensor was U$145 at the time.

There was a very good article posted to the Q-List a while
back about Oxy sensors and testing them. It's in the
archives somewhere. As for needing a special VW tool
to check the ECU codes, the tool referred to in the
manual is nothing more than a simple connector that
functions like a piece of wire. If you want a few of
the relevant pages, let me know and I could email
     you a scan.
