Heated seats

Bought a '89 200 TQ yesterday.  It's in great shape, but it doesn't have
heated seats.  How much work would it be to transfer the heat pads from my
86 5KTQ to the 89 200TQ, both with barcoloungers?  Wiring is not the
problem, just interested in knowing if the pads for the heated seats can
be transfered.  To make things more interesting, I want each set of
leather hides to stay with each respective car.  Thanks
