The base price for all three version of the S2 (limo, avant, coupe) 
were nearly identical and looking at the used car market in Germany 
they sell for similar prices.

The 6 speed box gives you even better use of the available torque 
range.

There is nothing wrong with the 5 speed box.

The 230Hp version was introduced in 9/92 with the 6 speed box , a 
different servotronic, different exhaust system and the overboost 
function.
