5KTq Down Pipe

Well I started working on removing the tranny last night to do the clutch.  So
far so good, except for the fact that my down pipe broke just aft of the O2
sensor when I was trying to get the "cat" off.  It was cracked before I
started playing around and I guess it just could not take the extra moving
around.  Well my question is wheather or not this thing can be welded back
together.  It seems that it was welded from the factory.  Or am I looking for
a new down pipe?  I know Erick has a pretty sexxy down pipe but I would rather
save my money here and use it to make the Ur-q a bit faster.  Any info would
be great.
