Doesn't sound right. That would be the 4 cyl 4k of course. Something
is not right. Either engine is very beat or it hasn't really been
"tuned up" intensively. I bet she needs things like new vacuum hoses.
My coupe's engine had 213,000 on it when I drowned it and while it was
tired, not as much power as the stock replacement I used, it still got
25-26 mpg, 22-23 on "winter" gasoline. I track mileage tank to tank as
a heads up indicator when something is wrong.
