Engine/trans removal procedure

I checked through the archives, but didn't find anything. Does anyone have
any instructions on how to remove the engine and trans? Most likely, I'll
be doing through the bottom, after removal of the subframe.
 One more related question: Once the engine and trans are on the ground,
how do I get the car out of the way? It'll most likely not have a front
suspension, wheels, etc. I wouldn't feel like putting the subframe back
on.
