r>ight? where the torsen doesn't.
Be careful, you don't grasp acceleration, don't put on the binders yet. Given
Gen II, III torsen centers ALL with a single rear line, I'd say a torsen
didn't 'require' work arounds, but certainly has them. That includes all
Torsen center diffs thru 1994. The new S cars have 4 lines to the rear. More
compromises. Better than or worse than a VC? Well given the marginal brakes
on audis, I wouldn't even come close to making any claims of VC compromises
without a look in the mirror. Your RS2 brakes the only exception in 10years
of torsens.
>once again, you have the audi torsen bias ratio wrong. it's 25/75 to 75/25,

Be careful, documentation exists for both. I use 22/78, you are welcome to
use 25/75 (could yours be a rounded number, you betcha, I've seen 80/20 as
well). Come on dave, a rather funny nit given it's impact on chassis dynamics
while turning, don't you think?
>scott, sometimes marketing to you is when the rubber meets the sky. you're

Correcting misinformation presented regarding an absolute traction device,
hardly is a marketing concept. You and Phil have succeeded in posting the
most misinformation regarding a Torsen Center. I believe that if you reread
Chocheks interview with Jeff, you might consider my posts more thoughtfully.
Given the "dumb gear-jamming friction device" is not a revelation, only a
confirmation. Your continued misinformation and misunderstanding of torsen
operation wastes a lot of bandwidth. Happy to help you, but that's all I'm
doing. Task orientation and frustration level is high at you and Phil,
because the device is dumb, not smart. And ALL inputs to the device are
considered traction inputs. Complicating the issue, really doesn't help you
or others learn the limits of an absolute traction device in a turn. To
discuss, Dave, you need to understand what you are talking about. Your
continued posts confirm the exact opposite.
And I still like your choice of audis. Torsens or no. 75 or 78
