Windscreen washers that don't

Hi Torsen list ;-)

Re: the person who wrote about lifeless windscreen washers recently- when
my car was in an accident last year, the w/screen washer pump was one of
the mangled items and needed replacement. It turned out to be the same item
as that in every VW Polo, Golf and Passat in my local breakers yard- $5
bought me one out of a '93 Polo, if I recall correctly. So if the pump
turns out to be the guilty party, help may be at hand...
