	Here's a possibility ... your thermostat may be broken. I had the
opposite problem a few months ago on my '85 5KT : the engine would never
come up to operating temperature.  When I checked the thermostat, it
literally came out in pieces. It's possible that in your case it's
somehow preventing coolant from circulating no matter what the
temperature.
