I had the same problem with a 1989 200 TQ. Called the Tech Line guy at Blaufergnugen and he said that the Fram oil filter I was using was probably to blame. He said they collapsed under the oil pressure. He recommended his oil filter. I ordered a couple, put it on and have had no problems since.
