 CI> Hi,

I don't think you have a 4.2L engine, unless the engine
was changed. Check, you've probably got a 3.6L, of
course being Euro-spec anything is possible.

CI> Does anyone know if it is technically and economically feasible to

CI> the whole suspension have to be replaced as one shop claimed?

Yes, this was covered under warranty when the car was new,
the whole front end gets changed over to 200TQ style brakes,
still a bit expensive but nowhere near the UFO cost. Check
the archives for this list, there have been few subjects,
aside from torsen diffs, that have had as much posted
about them as the "UFO" brakes.

A few people posted about vendors at reasonable prices for
parts, hopefully Dan (our listmeister) will eventually find
some time to update the parts vendor list.
