Bomb removal ?'s (type 44)



Hi Folks,
    Got my brand spanking new Bentley. Illustration 47.24 does a nice job
of illustrating Bomb assembly, making it look deceptively simple. I have a
few questions for the list: 

1. What besides discharging the Bomb prior to removal should I beware of?


2. Is it OK to leave the bomb off the car for a length of time (say two
weeks) without hurting anything? For instance, it's a no-no to let MC's or
SC's "dry out", i.e.. when removing the caliper(s) for rebuild, be sure to
plug the brake line well. 

3. For those that have attempted the Bomb recharge, what BTDT's should I
watch out for?

Excuse my simple questions, but we all gotta start somewhere.
