Re: v rated tires
To: quattro
George,
I've BTDT with the 205/60/15's. The only downside is the rolling
circumference... it's smaller. This translates into an optimistic speedo
and a faster spinning odometer. The upside is a seemingly faster turn in
and just an overall better response from the tires. For my car, the ride
was improved, but that was more a result of changing from the OEM
Goodyear's that were 5 years old at the time (I'm still secretly convinced
that Satan himself designed the OEM tires).
I picked up my BFG Comp T/A VR4's at discount tires [ http://www.tires.com
] and I believe they were $77 including shipping.
