RE: 5ktq timing belt probs

Finding 'true TDC' is simple, just remove the cam cover and verify that both #1 cyl. valves are closed while the crank is at 'TDC' and you have true TDC and not 180 degrees out. If both valves are not closed with the crank at TDC rotate the crank one rev and then re-verify that you have true TDC by confirming that both #1 cyl. valves are in fact now closed. Both valves are closed when the cam is positioned such that the cam base circles are down and not either lobe.

DO THIS *BEFORE* YOU REMOVE THE TIMING BELT!
