     Had this exact problem on my fathers adnoH, it was the
     rubber brake lines at the calipers that were soft,
     and were causing this problem.  Changed the rubber
     lines and resolved it.  Aside from the master cylinder
     check that has already been suggested, there isn't much
     else in the system that can cause this.
