RE: One high idle fix

Quick Fix (tm) : small ty-wrap around the post that actuates the switch to increase its diameter.

I used to have the same problem. Drove me nuts I thought it was the worn
plastic liners in the ball cups (tip fold teflon tape in a c ouple of
layers put joint together with it in between). I later found out that the
shaft that actuates the idle switch had worn where the switch contacts it.
I bent the switch arm up just so slightly that it would work. Voila! What
sparked this idea was the fact that if the trottle slammed shut, idle
would be ok, if I was easy, not the case.
