fool boiler & SportsCar on 'EFI'
The 'fool boiler' varies the control pressure during warm-up to control warm-up mixture enrichment. Huw's 100% correct - it is not in the fool supply path to the fool dist. It must be attached to the block as this is how the FI 'knows' the temp of the engine and hence what the corresponding mixture enrichment should be as the engine warms up. I don't think you need or want to move it from its stock location.
On a related note; anyone see the article on 'EFI' in the latest SportsCar magazine? They use the Bosch _mechanical_ K-Jetronic as an example of _Electronic_ Fuel Injection. I believe that this may be technically incorrect. My personal definition (IMFO) of EFI is a system that uses an _electronic_ fuel injector.

Never heard it called that before! ROTFL. One of the things it detects
is engine block heat... also, it's not actually in the fuel path, it
just uses some as a hydraulic fluid. Wouldn't worry about it. Wish I
could help you further.
