Nope, it's a microphone.

There are two microphone variations that I know of in the '91 200q. One
(shown in the Bentley) is mounted within and about 1/3 of the way up the
driver-side A-pillar; it looks like a small (approx. 1/2") button. The
other variety is a 1" x 2" box located overhead, at the leading edge of the
sunroof control panel. I have the former version in my present '91 200q,
and it seems to work fine--considering how small and inconspicuous it is.
