'98 A6 questions

Hello all,

Since the last time I wrote this list asking about the factory financing
plan, I procured a fully loaded '98 A6Q, black, which I am exceedingly
pleased with. I have a few nagging questions the dealer cannot answer,
however. Perhaps someone here knows:

1 What is the exact model number of Motorola hands-free voice-recognition
cell phone that is supposed to plug into the factory prewired jack? The
Neither the local Audi dealer, random cellular dealers, nor Motorola can
tell me; Motorola did offered a central Audi USA phone number
(313.340.5481) which, for 3 days, a bell recording reports as out of
service because "the line is being checked". The only clue the local Audi
dealer supplied is they "think it might be different than for the '97."
Yes, I actually need this--the car with double-paned glass (part of the
warm weather package) shields at least some radio waves: my hand-held cell
phone, radio modem, and garage door opener barely work, if at all, unless
windows are rolled down!

2 Wierd noise #1: When I first start the car, especially cold, a loud
whining buzz issues from the undercarriage somewhere around the driver
side rear, then stops, as if something is self-adjusting. It used to go
as long as 20 seconds--now it is down to 1-3 seconds. ??

3 Wierd noise #2: I back the car into the garage (as much to easily admire
the front view as for a quick getaway). When I first start the car, put
the transmission in drive, then roll down the driveway with my foot
lightly on the brake, there is a single crunchy scrape I can feel through
my braking foot, as if a chunk of something is being scraped off the disc.
But it only happens on the first wheel revolution after brake application
begins, and I never hear or feel a hint of it again until the next morning
when I take the car out of the garage again. Another self-adjusting
feature?

Thanks in advance for any clues, and best regards,
